Meet Nirmala Strestha - FKB Ambassador in Nepal

We met Nirmala at Shree Singha Devi Kodari village school where she was then teaching. She was very enthusiastic about the Freedom Kit Bags and helped us to take the details of all the women receiving a FKB. She later contacted us and asked if we could help Scout girls and female Leaders as she was a Scouter and knowing the beauty and helpfulness of the FKBs she wanted all in her Troop to have them. She travelled from Chautara,Sindapulchowk, where she lives, to Kathmandu to collect them and then back home to distribute them. Since then we have donated many more to young Scouters in support of the Scout's Association 'Period Positive' programme with Nirmala doing the teaching and instruction. Now Nirmala has become our Ambassador in Nepal reaching out to women's groups and schools. We are so happy to have her on our team.
